Sayur Pucuk Bandung

Last Saturday night, just like a normal Saturday night for me.
“Makan!Makan!
As usual my mother in law calling for us. Slowly I move to the dining area. But when I reached the table, one of the menus caught my attention immediately. Sayur pucuk Bandung...It has been my favorite sayur since I was a kid. My late mother use to cook it for me before I went to school. The taste and the aroma of the sayur puck bandung really turn my memory disk back to time. Since my mother suffered stroke which was in year 1996 and then she passes away in the year 2006. And then suddenly tonight, my favorite sayur was in front of me. It took 13 years for me before I saw it again. Same taste, same aroma, my mother in law got it right. So perfect. I just couldn’t control myself as I burst into tears. I never thought that I will ever taste sayur pucuk bandung. My sister did try to cook it for me few years back but they don’t get the taste right. So I was just crying in front of my plate looking at the sayur pucuk bandung. And deep in my heart, I realized how much I miss my mother and my father.
Not that I’m being sentimental but it make me sad because both of my parent passed away before I can take good care of them. I don’t have that opportunity. Seeing around me how younger generation treats their parents make me feel sad. Feels like I just want to say that don’t be rude to your parents. You will not have the opportunity in paying them back for what they have done to you. No money in the world can repay them but they will be satisfied when they saw their children growing into somebody that respect their parents, success in the world and such…
For my mother….for my father….Al-Fatihah……

Patience is all I need

Shed a tear 'cause I'm missing you
I'm still alright to smile
Girl, I think about you every day now
Was a time when I wasn't sure
But you set my mind at ease
There is no doubt you're in my heart now
Said woman take it slow
It'll work itself out fine
All we need is just a little patience
Said sugar make it slow
And we'll come together fine
All we need is just a little patience
Patience...
Ooh, oh, yeah

Sit here on the stairs
'Cause I'd rather be alone
If I can't have you right now, I'll wait dear
Sometimes, I get so tense
But I can't speed up the time
But you know, love, there's one more thing to consider
Said woman take it slow
Things will be just fine
You and I'll just use a little patience
Said sugar take the time
'Cause the lights are shining bright
You and I've got what it takes to make it
We won't fake it, Oh never break it
'Cause I can't take it

little patience, mm yeah, ooh yeah,
Need a little patience
Just a little patience
Some more patience
I've been walking these streets at night
Just trying to get it right (Need some patience)
It's hard to see with so many around
You know I don't like being stuck in a crowd (Could use some patience, yeah)
And the streets don't change but maybe the name
I ain't got time for the game
'Cause I need you
Yeah, yeah well I need you
Oh, I need you
Whoa, I need you (Just a little patience is all we need)
this time....

It has been a while I didn’t update my blog. Work has been keeping me aside from updating my blog. Guess what, I try new thing last week, I can say a bit proud of myself. Giving a lecture to newly confirm Government servant, Kursus Induksi Umum. I really surprise myself. Usually I’m a bit shy to public but lately, I have been doing a lot of things that I don’t dare to do it before. It seems that now entering the no entry zone for me earlier on. I even became an emcee for the few big even that was organized by my department. I can’t believe it myself as even in school or while studying, I hate to be in front of people either doing presentation or what. But nowadays, I’ve kept challenging myself to things that seem to be a taboo for me. Even my wife can’t believe me also.
In my younger’s years, I always challenge myself to a limit. I’m a very active sportsman, compete in every basketball tournament, 3 on 3, Kuching open, futsal, just name it. But now I can say a bit older, I’m looking for something to challenge myself. Since I can consider that I’ve been trying everything, this is a new area for me to explore. Now I’m thinking of bungee jumping, I don’t know either we have it locally here, going to do some internet surf after this for more info.
I guess the I will be the adrenalin junkies forever,

Suddenly, out of nowhere, I just wondering, what are my ex.’s doing nowadays? It seems just to pop out in my mind. I mention it to my wife, that how I’m wonder how are my ex. are doing now. It is not that I want to make my wife feel jealous or what, or I thinking about other women. But it just being that curiosity of how are they doing now? How many kids they have now? I knew the latest update of few of them.
Looking back in time, I realize that I had a few serious relationships with few girls …hahahaha. Not that I’m a playboy. It just that what we called, cinta monyet masa sekolah. In secondary, if I’m not mistaken I had 3 which I can consider serious relationships. I knew one of them already married and have 4 kids. Wow...seems that very productive lady. The other two, I really wonder what they are doing now. I guess I just mention their name. Who knows may be someone who read my blog knew them. I knew one of them Noorazizah Noorkiah migrates to Johor while we were in form 3. The last address that I knew, they stay at Taman Kempas. The other one is Siti Nurahimah. I can’t remember her father’s name.

Now I’m happily married with a daughter, 2 years old of age. Within 2 weeks time, it will be my 6th anniversary. I don’t have any plan yet what to do and what to give to my wife. Need to think quickly as time getting nearer. My wife always complaint that I’m not a romantic person. To be honest, I did try my best to be as romantic as she want me to be, but guess what happened, she laughed out until she couldn’t breathe. Well, for me that’s it. I don’t even dare to try it one more time. It just my nature, I can’t be romantic but I can be a very funny guy.
Then looking forward for another celebration I guess….

Last night I’m watching CSI: Vegas. A very interesting episode which it revealed another side of Gil Grissom before he became what he was now. And for the next episode, next Wednesday, Grissom will be leaving the CSI team. Well this is where Lawrence Fishbone came in as CSI: Vegas new supervisor. Arghh……this mean, next week will be last episode I can watch Grissom character.

Seriously I’m in a serious doubt whether Lawrence Fishbone can replace William Petersen (Grissom). I have been a loyal follower to CSI: Vegas. Since it was first aired at NTV7 years back, I’ve never missed any episode and every new season. I’m afraid that the series will not be the same as before. The death of Warrick, the departure of Sara Sidle, seriously this new season is a season of change, and it changes a lot.
Good bye Grissom…

Kinda busy for these few days. A lot need to be done with a short period of time. Doesn’t have the opportunity to update my blog but still manage to read some update by Ms Tikot, Big Momma, Fleece Master and Twitter Tongue. I must say that I have been a big fan for their blog update. Event I can’t manage to update and read any latest news from my friends in the Face Book world. I must say that April is a bit occupied with a lot of activities.
The three small elections just passed by, with BN, PAS and PKR each won a seat. Seem that BN has not been a very popular choice in West Malaysia. They have lost few small elections recently. And there is a riot in Kelantan, Malaysia Premiere League. The Kelantan’s supporter torched a Police van. I thought that kind of mentality is no more in the local football scene. A bit surprising. Najib has sworn as our new Prime Minister, which complete the cycle of R.A.H.M.A.N. He hasn’t name is deputy yet but I can guess it will be Muhiyuddin Yassin.
Wow…a lot has been happening around me lately. Really hope what is happening now is a very best for thing to us. The chaotic political scene, sport drama and such, I really wish it will end sooner and really hope that now they all can concentrate to manage our country better.
Well, it seems that nothing much to say now. Still collecting and searching for ideas for my own blog update. Until the next one (this has been my favorite sentence for me to end my blog hahahaha…damn…)
